Love is love. But is interracial dating worth it? Let’s talk. About 1 in 5 newlyweds in the United States marries someone of a different race or ethnicity. The most recent large-scale analysis of Census Bureau data put that figure at roughly 19% of newlyweds, up from just 3% in 1967 when the Supreme Court struck down bans on interracial marriage.
